China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday denied the accusation that several Chinese diplomats barged into the office of Papua New Guinea's(PNG) foreign minister during the APEC Economic Leaders' meeting, dismissing it as rumors spread with ulterior motives.

China and PNG have always maintained smooth and effective communication. Any attempt to undermine China-PNG relations will not succeed, foreign ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said at Monday's daily presser.
