Twenty-nine-year-old Chen Zifang lives in Badong County in central China's Hubei Province. For him, life is not easy.

Chen was born with no arms, a part of the body that we usually take for granted. Thus, even ordinary daily activities are a challenge.

But Chen never lives a life full of depression and self-pity. In contrast, he is optimistic, diligent and hopeful. In order to overcome the congenital disability, he gradually learned how to do everything with his feet.

His ambition, however, is not limited to learning daily skills. Not long ago, he learned how to use a smartphone and computer, and also opened an online specialty store.

Access to the Internet connected him to the outside world. He hopes one day he can create his own business and have his mother live with him.

Life is always like this. When you are strong, all difficulties will be nothing, Chen said, When you are weak, even a tiny barrier can stop you.
