Clashes among prisoners in Brazil have left at least 15 people dead in Amazonas state in northern Brazil on Sunday, said the regional authority.

According to the prison authority, the clashes broke out at around 11:00 a.m. (15:00 GMT) during visiting hours at the facility.

At least 60 people were killed in the same prison riot which lasted 17 hours in January 2017.
